I would love to meet you! And I also have a soft spot for mustangs :)
I should say that blogger sucks but wordpress sucks less - lol.
I still find adding images very clunky and I wish the posting interface was more wysiwyg.

So true about what we teach. I went to help someone yesterday get a halter back on the rehab horse I'd sent home with her. She can touch him, but he's got a big rope issue so haltering is difficult. Each time she reached out to him (after I had his halter back on), he'd pull away, so she backed off. Misdirected pressure and release, I told her, and made her keep moving in to him until he stood still and she could scratch on him. They both felt better!

Hope you find me at the Expo! I'm looking forward to being able to meet a bunch of folks who are only online names :)

BTW...are you still enjoying wordpress over blogger? I think they both have their ups and downs.

Bravo on your notes! Thanks for the write-up. Sounds like a very helpful, informative event. I like this guy and his approach.

Hey, we're all there to learn how to better work with our horses, no matter what discipline, and that's a good thing.
One complaint I have about EA is there is so much going on at the same time. I would have liked to have seen some hunter/jumper demos, but couldn't because I had scheduled to see someone else at the same time. The one dressage person (Charlotte Bredahl-Baker) they had was not appearing until the weekend, unfortunately.
I'm glad to hear I am not the only person who takes notes!

You certainly do hear some interesting conversations sitting in clinics at Equine Affaire (I've been to the Columbus version a few times). I too take notes and have come home with some amazing exercises from the hunter/jumper and dressage sessions. I'm not much for sitting in on the Craig Cameron/Monty Roberts type stuff.
